Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

Haven of the Gods is a free game made by a solo developer. This policy explains exactly what is stored and why. There is no advertising, no analytics profiling and no selling of data.

Where your save lives

Your save is stored in your own browser's local storage on your own device, and clearing your browser data deletes that copy permanently.

For your progress to survive a lost device, the game also creates an anonymous account automatically when it loads, using Google Firebase. This account has no email, no name and nothing identifying you — it is a random identifier — and a copy of your game save is stored against it so it can be restored. If you later sign in, that progress is linked to your account. If you would rather not have a cloud copy at all, use Sign out & wipe in Settings, or play with a browser that blocks the connection; the game remains fully playable offline.

If you create an account

Accounts are handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Signing in with email or with Google adds your email address to the anonymous record described above, so the following is stored and can sync across your devices:

This data lives in Google Firebase (Firestore) and is used solely to run the game. It is never sold, rented, or used for advertising.

Deleting your data

In the game, open Settings and use Sign out & wipe to remove the save from your device. To permanently delete your account and all cloud data, email the address below and it will be deleted within 30 days.

Children

The game is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond the account email described above.
